An issue which I’m particularly passionate about in this borough is grammar schools. Greenwich Borough urgently needs a grammar school for the benefit of all our young people, whether their talents lie in academia or in other vocations.
The impact that grammar schools have had on me and my family means that I am determined to make sure this borough gets the grammar school it needs to secure a better future for all our young people.
I am delighted to get behind a very worthwhile campaign from Conservative Voice website, to support the expansion of grammar schools up and down the country. I recently spoke to Stephen Elphick, head teacher at Bexley Grammar School and a father and daughter, both of whom attended their local grammar school.
